Legacy Business Advisors' CEO Taneshia Nash Laird was a panelist for Catalyst Network Foundation in New York City on October 21, 2015. CNF partnered with six Black and Latino professional organization to Panel Discussion Centered around pressures faced by Black & Latino athlete in mainstream American sports culture and how to foster business relationships between the Black & Latino athletes and professionals. Her co-panelists included
  • Thomas Q Jones who played in the NFL for a dozen years and is now both an actor and tech entrepreneur.
  • Fatimah Gilliam, Esq., the Founder and CEO of The Azara Groupup, which is a leadership development and strategy consulting business.
  • Mike Roberts of Ivy Sports Group. Mike is an entrepreneur who specializes in the sports and entertainment industry.
  • Mia Hall, a speaker, content producer, and community strategist, Mia is currently the community manager for the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, NY.
The panel moderator was Bert Gervais, founder of Success Mentor Education. Bert is a national best-selling author, speaker, and he is the coordinator for Project D.R.E.AM. a mentor program for the children of incarcerated parents.
The Catalyst Network Foundation Inc. (CNF) is a non-profit education initiative (501(c)(3) organization) based in New York City and Washington, D.C. Founded in 2011, CNF is a non-profit focused on life enrichment and professional development, with a mission to engage high-potential youth (ages 14-25) and veterans (ages 21-30) with successful projects by providing the proper tools, network, and development opportunities.
